Another golf heaven was established in the 1980’s called Pinewild Country Club some 1.5 miles from the village center. With 2000 acres planned for 925 homes, the community boasts two 18 hole championship golf layouts one by Gene Hamm and the other by Gary Player. The community was one of the first in the country to also offer a regulation 9 hole par three with holes ranging from 90 to 200 yards.

This gated community offers spacious house lots requiring all home have a side entry garage adding to the beauty. Whereas other gated communities are a bit pricier, we have found Pinewild the most affordable for the exceptional quality of homes, facilities and general atmosphere. Pinewild offers three gates into the community, The main gate on Route 211 and the second gate on Linden Rd, and the third is a resident only access gate on Abington to 211.
